| Seasons Greetings! This is the time of year when we all begin to reflect on our lives and re-evaluate the directions we are taking. Prioritizing tasks, looking over goals and taking another good look at the vision for where we are heading. New and more advanced challenges arise and face us each day. Putting to the test those goals and ambitions we have set before ourselves...and even some we wouldn't wish upon our enemies. As we press on in this life the challenges unfortunately are not getting easier but harder and more difficult. But we have this hope, knowing we're not on this life's journey alone. As a ship we are like family in a way, well more so than one may realize. There are things we would never share with our blood kin but we will with our friends and comrades. As a husband, father, a brother and a son there are expectations we tend to place unknowingly on those closest to us which can hinder I have the privilege to have such a supportive crew as you and I know as these challenges we end up facing we do so not alone but in numbers! Side by side with our weapons in hand and the fire in our blood boiling as we honorably face these challenges and sing of our victories and accomplishments. This year we have done some mighty things together as well as individuals. We helped a city school raise funds for their visual arts program, interacted with other Star trek Fans in Las Vegas and in Northern California and with those online. With the coming of the new Star trek movie set during a time of the original series, we will be facing even newer challenges and hopefully an influx of new blood coming into the famous Star Trek fandom. This is a special time for us all to witness such a time as this. Many will begin to look up to each of us as mentors, leaders and advisors as they transition from mundanes to Trekkies.
